The Open Glossary of Edge Computing project provides a concise collection of terms related to the field of edge computing. Launched in June 2018, the glossary improves communication and accelerates innovation through a shared vocabulary, offering a vendor-neutral platform with which to discuss compelling solutions offered by edge computing and the next generation Internet.
The project encourages individuals and organizations with an interest in edge computing to publish and incorporate the glossary into their own works. The project also welcomes contributors from everywhere, providing a GitHub repository where individuals can join the community, present ideas, participate in discussions, and offer specific suggestions and improvements to the glossary. To contribute to the glossary, refer to our Contributing Guide.
