EdgeX Challenge China 2022

EdgeX Challenge is an international hackathon event of using EdgeX Foundry framework to heal business problems from different industries, and it is hosted by LF Edge. EdgeX Foundry provides IoT and edge computing reference architectures for vertical segments: health, education, consumer industries, energy, industrial, smart city, enabling more industry solutions and solving more business painpoints. 

This event aims to build a learning and sharing platform about adopting IoT & EdgeX Foundry to heal industry problems along with digital transformation. With the evolvement of IoT, more and more real-world use cases demand local data storage, privacy protection, low transition latency and low cost. 

Join our community at EdgeX Challenge China from July to December 2022. What happens if the event can’t be held in-person?
Due to COVID pandemic situation, we may need to pivot from an in-person event to a virtual one. We will provide a written notice to all participants if the transition to a virtual event is made. The final round will be live streamed on Bilibili, CSDN. We will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of those who attend the event in person. Given COVID pandemic situation, the type of participation may change.

What is your policy for sharing attendee information?
The Linux Foundation’s data protection and privacy policy is part of our general terms and conditions that all registrants must accept before they can complete their registration. This includes the registrant’s confirmation that they understand their data will be shared with the sponsor if they have their name badge scanned at an onsite sponsor booth or visit a sponsor’s virtual booth.
